Beirut is literally a maze for new comers so a little bit of road signs will definitely put you on track. However the Municipality is unable to keep track of the continuous changes !!!???

These signs are in the vicinity of Borj Al Ghazal so they lead us to #Ashrafiyeh, and the surrounding. If it happens you find yourself there, try to enjoy the beauty ... and here i am not talking about the old houses that people are complaining to be invaded by newly built towers.
(because simply i dont give a damn for a local who sells his house for 2m $ and then go complains that this is a "شارع ذو طابع تراثي" - "street of heritage value")

Whatever happened to fire alarms, smoke detectors, anti fire systems in warehouses storing chemical shit!!!! i can't believe i spent all night inhaling *cancerous smoke* as red cross declared it. and what was the alternative avoid inhaling smoke!!! WTF!!! so i fill a bathtub and absorb oxygen through my skin?

It didn't stop here of course, cause in the morning I decided to drive on the sea road just to inhale some fresh air to clear the lungs. and apparently some asshole decided to block the road with more than 10 trucks due to new tower being built. and the cars were jammed from raouche till kornish al mazra3a tunnel.

i will end this with a final shout: "WHOMEVER DECIDED THAT EIGHTIES AT 8 ON ALL STUPID RADIO DIALS IS A GOOD THING?" and can't we at least play some decent tunes instead of so cold the night and hotel California every fucking morning??

those pictures are taken on a Saturday morning while walking in Hamra street. Amazing is the huge number of Cafes open recently. Hamra Cafe, Caribu, Gloria Jeans Cafe, Ahwit il Hamra, ... not to forget the usual Starbucks, Costa, and cafe Younis, ...

how to sort your emails?

are you bombarded with 1000s of emails every day including spam, ads, newsletters and so on? do you have a method to sort your emails? how do you set your priorities? even more how do you find that 2 weeks old email about a task that just came to light again? or maybe you had to follow up but it was dumped under the pile of weeks and weeks of emails?

Some people just don't know how to sort it out ... and any email not appearing on the screen is just history. the only way to follow up on a task is when their superior asks about the status or when they randomly decide to clean their inbox on a boring day.

of course Microsoft with every release of Outlook have added many features: like Categories, Flags, Tasks, Calendars, reminders, colors, rules, folders, sorting, reading panes, ...

I myself don't use much of these, simply flag emails that might be lost and need follow up, add a reminder to flags for the due date, and sort all emails related to ongoing projects in their folders... all other goes to either work or personal folders.
